Attention:
At 10:46pm tonight, I asked Casey D'Ann Montgomery to be my wife. She replied "I don't see why not". I know I'm supposed to all macho and stuff, but when she said that phrase, I teared up. One. Because it meant I was so happy that I was going to spend the rest of my life with her and Two. It was what my Grandfather used to say to me when I a little boy asking him to go and play. I had told her about this a while back. It meant so much to me hearing her say those words.
I is so happy now.
The pictures of the ring to prove this isn't us playing another joke.

I just noticed that I haven't really posted anything other than pictures in a while. Well here 'ya go.
Finally got settled into my new job. It didn't take me as long as I thought to get back into the swing of things. I am working a lot of hours, but this time around I get paid overtime! (before, my position was hourly.....blah!) in the last two weeks I put in over 114 hours! It seems I have traded free time and relaxation for financial security. As most of you have probably noticed, I've taken up photography again. I had forgotten how much I enjoy taking pictures. Now that I've gone digital, it's a lot less expensive too! It won't take long to recoup the cost of my Nikon D-50 ( plus, it being a SLR, I can use all my lenses from my N-80 ) Gotta go for now, I'm playing the role of responsible home owner. My front and back yard are calling for some serious landscaping today. Fixed my privacy fence yesterday, trimming hedges today. -oh shit....when did I become a grown up?

Man in court after 1067 baby crocs found
From: Agence France-Presse
From correspondents in George, South Africa
March 15, 2006
A MAN allegedly caught with 1067 baby crocodiles in his car appeared in a South African court overnight.
Paul Gildenhuys of Cape Nature Conservation's environmental crime unit said the man faced charges of possession and transport of the crocodiles without the necessary permits.
There was no immediate information about where the crocodiles came from and where they were to be sold.
"Everything that flies, walks, swims and crawls has a price on its head. That's a fact of life," Mr Gildenhuys said.
Recent figures from the international police agency, Interpol, showed that trade in flora and fauna was now the second largest illegal trade in the world, after narcotics.
Recent estimates for the illegal flora and fauna trade put the figure at $US20 billion ($27.25 billion) a year
South Africa is seen as one of the world's hotspots for biodiversity with its rich natural wildlife.

steaksteak says that since I'm all growns up now, I can't go by the name "Mikey" anymore. ..... So the master purveyor of nicknames, the aforementioned steaksteak has dubbed me " Sir Michael of Os " With such a distinguished sounding name, I need a new coat of arms. Any ideas? - Sir Michael of Os. (mikey was a hell of a lot easier to type) ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)

I was lying in bed this morning thinking about the old Scooby Doo cartoons that featured celebrity's like Jerry Reed, Don Knots, The Harlem Globe Trotters, and Sandy Duncan. How cool were they?!!!! This, in turn leads me to post this question.
Which celebrity (current or past) would you most like to solve a mystery with?
My choice?

I kinda cheated, he's one of the foremost mystery solvers in the world. |
